Phil moderates a remarkable online discussion board where
members can chat about music or whatever strikes their
fancy. A group of friends I met through the boards joined
each other in the hotel bar for drinks and laughs. You
may know them by their online names (l to r): Dibsy, Nicky,
Holly Daze, Anna, Ptolemy, and Carla. Now that it’s
easier to make friends electronically rather than in the
flesh, it was a rare treat to have everyone gathered together
in London.
